At the department of computer technologies the training is carried on the full-time form.
The level of specialized secondary education: on the basis of general basic education (GBE) and general secondary education (GSE) by the speciality:
- 2 40 01 01 “Information technologies software”: specializations: “Software of mathematical information processing” qualification – a technician-programmer: GBE – 3 years 10 months, GSE – 2 years 10 months.
In this speciality the specialists of processing mathematical information are trained. During the training at the level GSE the following tasks are solved: Acquisition of basic knowledge of algorithmization and programming, system programming, computer networks, software of creation of Internet-appendices, production economy and practical application of this knowledge to processing mathematical information. For the acquisition of practical experience, abilities and skills at the department the training and industrial practices are carried out:
- working out and software support
- programming practice;
- obtaining a trade of the worker (with qualification assignment «the Operator of a computer») and industrial practice;
- technological practice;
- prediploma practice.
Training result is diploma designing in which course pupils carry out diploma designs of an information-program character. For all-round and harmonious development of pupils the Olympic Games on programming, scientifically-practical conferences are regularly conducted where professional capabilities of studying youth are shown. Upon termination of the college it is supposed that the expert should own bases of computer science, information technologies software, the nobility and to be able to use in practice:
- The environments and programming languages, such as PASCAL, DELPHI, a C ++, VISUAL a C ++, VISUAL BASIC;
- Means of management systems databases ACCESS, InterBase, MySQL, Oracle;
- Operating systems MS DOS, WINDOWS, UNIX;
- Computer graphics and animation means, such as ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, COREL DRAW, HTML.
In the process of information technologies methods and means development the above-stated means can be improved, there can be new perspective means which will be the objects of learning and usage.
For the achievement of the above-named tasks there are following possibilities:
- Material and technical support. To conduct laboratory and practical classes, 7 computer classes are used, each of which consists of 12 PCs with an Intel-type processor integrated into local computer networks with access to the global Internet network. This makes it possible to access practically a very large amount of information and, therefore, allows more complete and qualitative provision of the learning process.
- Software and information support. The above-mentioned software and information support facilities are available in computer classes, which allow to fully implement the educational process taking into account the modern needs of society.
- Organizational and methodological support. To implement the educational process, methodical manuals, instructions, recommendations, as well as textbooks, teaching aids, reference books and other literature that is available in the IRC library are used. Developed and developed electronic training and testing complexes for better training and used as a supplement and extension of the capabilities of a live teacher, i.e. in the form of a virtual teacher.
- Staffing. For successful and high-quality training of specialists, teachers with higher education and teaching experience in the field of computer science and information technology software work.
